Impressions From Bayreuth, Bavaria | Photo Diary

I love to sit in silence
Beneath the shady trees
And listen to the song of birds
And to the buzz of bees

I love to sit in silence
And watch the clouds roll by
Then read a book or sing a song
And hear the wild bird cry

I love to sit in silence
When the day is almost done
And see behind the distant hill
The paint glow of the sun.

I love to sit in silence
In the evening twilight
And listen to the whippor-will
Singing with all its might

I love to sit in silence
Beneath the starry sky
And pray to God in earnest
To live in silence all the while.

A little bit of a different post today as I decided to have a little poem accompany my photos from Bayreuth, a beautiful city in Bavaria and home to Richard Wagner and his famous operas. We visited the Eremitage a wonderfully quaint place on the outskirts of town and former country home of the margraves and Bayreuth's upper class and as you can see I couldn't help myself but take lots and lots of photos. Let me know what you think of this type of post. Do you like it? Leave me a comment and tell me how you feel about it :)

Lots of Love,
Jess
